Plythe Freedman holds a MA in Youth Ministry from Columbia Theological Seminary. She is a mother of two. Her passion for small businesses and her community has been displayed through her many hours of volunteering and meeting with city officials to assist in promoting Fort Pierce. She is also a former board member of Grace Way Village, a non profit organization that helps clothe and feed disadvantaged children. She is a former member of the Chamber of Commerce and a former Royal Palms member. She served on the RDC advisory board at Suncoast Mental Health Center. And She was appointed by a City Commissioner to serve on the CRA Advisory Committee as the chair. She worked with Frontline For Kids as their public relations specialist and had her own column in the Lincoln Park Main Street Showcase. Plythe's goal is to promote Fort Pierce as a destination for families to visit, live, work and play.

Thanks for helping to spread the word. It is unconscionable that the FEC can move forward with such a dubious plan, supported heavily by public loans & grants and show complete and utter disdain for the lives and livelihoods they may destroy.

i think the new trains do not need “tracks” — they can be constructed above the ground rail –allowing traffic to pass under– our current situation with train horns blasting all night long isn’t the friendliest situation for people living near the tracks either– city commission needs to act on this noise pollution and then compensation for 32 trains planned in future passing through our small town– i love fort pierce and my only other beef here is with FPUA for fluoridating our drinking water that is a major health issue for our children , pets , and elderly— fluoridealert.org for more info on this poison that you dont need administered to you on a daily basis by the government.
