The impact of Covid-19 on businesses has been felt around the world and in our communities. Some local small businesses regrouped and got creative to stay relevant during these challenging times. So, Andres Ayala of Ayala Films along with David Brown Photography had a mission to help others by donating their services and time for small businesses and those on the frontlines. This campaign was a huge success and took 6-7 weeks to gather the content, create and promote. The blessings flowed out to all, especially the businesses who participated and were so generous. It’s been amazing to watch our community come together to support each other.
The following is a list of all the establishments that participated and their donations:
St Lucie Draft House donated a dinner to St Lucie Fire District Station 6
Tail gators restaurant delivered 100 wings to the nurses at Tradition Medical Center.
Neurostive Hydration & Med Spa donated $100.00 gift card from Tutti Fresco toSt Lucie County Sheriff’s Office.
Pierced Cider was kind enough to donate a $50.00 gift card from 2nd Street Bistro to Damian Spotts of the Fort Pierce Police Department.

Below is the recap the Ayala Films promotion:
Here at Ayala Films, we have felt the impact COVID-19 has had on our business just like many of you have. If there is one thing that we have seen and learned thru all of this is the sense of solidarity and support that we all have for each other during these trying times.
With this quarantine happening, there is a daily spike in phone and computer usage. Many people STILL don’t know if your business is open or closed. We are offering short 15-30 second videos to small business owners (restaurants, bars, local small business, etc…) to create the exposure needed for you on what services this quarantine will allow your business to offer (DELIVERY, CURBSIDE, PICKUP). In return, we do not ask for payment in the form of cash, we ask for you to DONATE A MINIMUM $50 RESTAURANT GIFT CARD OR A PURCHASED MEAL OF EQUAL OR GREATER VALUE to those on the frontlines and it could be anyone of your choice (nurses, police, firefighters). It is not our goal to monetize thru this, but to allow everyone to still prosper in their businesses and in return, thank those that are risking their lives for our safety during these trying times.
The ONLY requirement is that the business has to be in ST LUCIE COUNTY in order to participate and filming will be done following social distancing rules (DRONE WHERE ALLOWED, OUTSIDE SHOTS OF BUSINESS, VIDEO OF PEOPLE WITHIN A SAFE DISTANCE). The video will highlight your business and its location and the services that you offer during this time. The gift card or family meal will be donated to a frontline service of YOUR CHOICE and the donation will be exchanged with the selected business on the day of filming in order to keep social distancing rules and delivered immediately after.
Andes Ayala’s thank you message.
